Chuck and Lydia Roberts attended the 78th Annual Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, S.D., on Veteran’s Appreciation Day at the rally. Chuck and his brother, Chester, rode into town on a 1941 U.S. Army Harley Davidson, model WLA motorcycle with 1934 VL sidecar. Hundreds of veterans came by to inspect the WWII motorcycle. Chuck (on the right) and his brother, Chester, dressed up as military police, which was a big hit with the crowd. The following day, Chuck gave a presentation on motorcycles used during WWII to the seniors at Westhills retirement home in Rapid City.
