ROCHELLE — Girl Scout Troops 409 & 1168 and Cub Scout Pack 553 assisted the Rochelle Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution in placing flags on veterans' graves at Trinity Memory Gardens, Lawnridge Cemetery and St. Patrick's Cemetery in honor of Veterans' Day.
These flags will also be used to locate veterans' graves for Wreaths across America ceremonies in Rochelle on Dec. 19. Anyone wishing to sponsor a wreath for a specific veteran or for any veteran at these cemeteries can pick up a form at St. Patrick's church, VFW Post 3878, or online at WreathsAcrossAmerica.org/IL0136P. The deadline for wreath sponsorships to be received is Nov. 30.
