Schneider, Gray wed on July 1

BLOOMINGTON — Lauren (Schneider) Gray and Jeremy Gray of Bloomington, were united in marriage on July 1, 2017 during a 2 p.m. double ring ceremony by Father Horton at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Parents of the couple are Dave and Carol Schneider of Rochelle and Michael and Carol Gray of Pontiac.
The bride wore a Jim Hjelm V-neck, Ivory Alencon lace over champagne charmeuse A-line formal bridal gown, with an ivory ribbon with floral detail accentuating the open key-hole back, topped with a cathedral length, lace edged veil. She carried hand cut Blush and white roses with white hydrangeas.
The groomsmen wore navy blue tux with blush ties.  
The wedding colors were blush, navy and gold.
The bride’s attendants - from all over the U.S. from Boston to Texas to Hawaii – included Kali Smith, best friend and Maid of Honor, from Beloit, Wis.; Veronica Erickson, best friend, of Rochelle; Jenna Engelsen, cousin of the bride, of Boston, Mass.; Julia Popp, cousin of the bride, of College Station, Texas; and Shayla Matono, college friend of the bride, of Hawaii.

Groomsmen included Jacob Gray, Best Man and brother of the groom, of Pontiac; Andrew Craig, best friend of the groom, of Bloomington; Alex Carranza, best friend of the groom, of Portland, Ore.; Brad Rae, college friend of the groom, of Visalia, Calif.; and Andrew Schneider, brother of the bride, of DeKalb.
Ushers included Lucas and Logan Gray, brothers of the groom, of Pontiac.
Delany Gray, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl.
A reception was held at the Marriott Ballroom in Bloomington-Normal from 5 p.m. to midnight and included cocktails, a formal dinner and dancing. White silk banners and fairy lights draped from the ceiling, up lights, Gold Chivari chairs, matching flower centerpieces, and gold charger plates. There was a flower wall backdrop for photo booth. The couple also had a signature vodka and cranberry drink with gold sparkly swizzle stick (4th of July!).
The couple enjoyed a 10-day, two island honeymoon in Hawaii.
Lauren is employed at Illinois State University as a Research & Planning Analysist. She is currently working on her doctorate in Higher Education Administration.
Jeremy is a Pharmacist in Minonk and received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
The couple makes their home in Bloomington.
