OREGON — Serenity Hospice and Home will facilitate a free, eight-week Grief Support group open to the public starting Wednesday, Jan. 19.
Based on the book “Understanding Your Grief: Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart” by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, this group is designed to help individuals along their grief journeys by connecting them with a supportive community and providing helpful resources.
The program will be facilitated at Serenity Hospice and Home, 1658 S. Illinois Route 2, Oregon, and the time will be determined based on when participants are available. Individuals who would like to attend should register by calling Cathy Warren of the Serenity Bereavement Team at 815-732-2499.
