Small business classes being offered by Kish and Waubonsee

MALTA — Kishwaukee College in partnership with Waubonsee Community College SBDC is offering free small business sessions for individuals interested in starting a business or small business owners. Sessions will be delivered via Zoom.

Courses are designed to assist in the development of important aspects of small business ownership and operation.

There will be five classes and participants are not required to take them all. The classes are taught by Dr. Jock Somnese from 6-7:15 p.m.

The first class will be Oct. 13 titled Intro and Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile. On Oct. 20, Defining Market Needs will be taught. On Oct. 27 Setting Financial Goals will be taught.

Nov. 3 is Penetrating the Market and Nov. 10 is Building the Organization.
