STEWARD — What youngster doesn’t like bugs? Steward Elementary School students enjoyed participating in the BUGS program, capping off the school year with a pizza party on Tuesday afternoon.
“BUGS” (Bringing Up Grades) is a Kiwanis kids program that promotes academic achievement.
Nearly 60 kids received recognition from members of the Kiwanis Golden K for improving their grades for the final grading period. The Kiwanis provided certificates and a one-dollar coin for each of the students.
