ROCHELLE — Rochelle City Council members voted to delete one Class B liquor license for The Wine Barrel (306 Lincoln Highway) during Monday’s meeting at City Hall. The action resulted in the City of Rochelle’s number of Class B liquor licenses being lowered to 10 total licenses.
Council members also celebrated four city staff members who are retired or will be retiring at the end of this year. Those staff members include Carol Elliott, Ken Dougherty, Phil Orlikowski and Sandy Sullivan. The retiring staff members will be presented with plaques from the city.
