ROCHELLE — Last weekend, the Rochelle Township High School Interact Club partnered with Rochelle City Manager Jeff Fiegenschuh and the Rochelle Police Department in order to clean up graffiti around town.
“We have been noticing more graffiti this year and thought a clean-up project would be a great opportunity to get more community buy-in for continued city beautification,” Fiegenschuh said. “When we approached [the high school], the students and their advisors jumped immediately at the opportunity.”
Interact students worked at several locations in Rochelle to paint and clean-up graffiti.
