CRESTON — Creston School has a new superintendent.
Curt Rheingans introduced himself to Village of Creston trustees Wednesday evening at the board meeting, mentioning he is “excited to work hand in hand” with the village.
He replaces Bill Robertson, who took a new job in the Chicago area.

Trustees approved the purchase of a new truck for the village from Bonnell at a cost of about $85,000. This includes hydraulics, salt spreader, 10-foot straight blade snowplow and several options including lighting and running boards.
“We are expecting it would be within the month for the delivery of the new truck,” said Village President Wayne Williams. “We would like to have it well before winter — our current Dodge truck might not make another winter.”
