OREGON — More than 50 youth participated in the 2019 4-H Day of Dabbling held Jan. 26 at the Oregon Church of God.
Sponsored by University of Illinois Extension Ogle County, this annual event was open to all youth, ages 5-15. It was designed to provide participants with the opportunity to explore numerous areas of 4-H project work hands-on.
Fifteen workshops were offered; each participant selected three. Project areas touched on included: visual arts, woodworking, birds, and science. As a result of the workshop, participants took home creations ranging from slime to beaded wind chimes and candles to bird feeders.
