MALTA — The Kishwaukee College Foundation recently announced student scholarship recipients for the fall 2021 semester. The foundation awarded $198,479 to 173 Kish students through 282 scholarships. Scholarship funds are made possible through generous gifts from members of the community, local businesses and industry and area agencies and associations. Students are selected on a competitive basis, according to each scholarship’s specific requirements.
Kishwaukee College students from Rochelle received the following awards: Beulah & Roberta Hackett Endowment — Nicole Sheets; Bud & Kay Stocking Rochelle Rotary Endowment — Kaitlynn Ost and Sarah Owen,; Charles & Mary Roberts Memorial Endowment — Allison Seebach and Rebecca Bunger; Dean & Betty Burgemeister Endowment — Nicole Sheets; Employee Give Scholarship Fund — Brooke Myroth and Rebecca Bunger; Forging Foundation Scholarship —Micah Koziol; Founder's Endowment Fund — Kaitlynn Ost; Jesus Romero Hispanic Endowment — Arlette Garcia and Brandon Villa; Kishwaukee College Engineering Scholarship — Micah Koziol; LaVerne "Dutch" Johnson Memorial Fund — Kaitlynn Ost; Nancy D. Castle Scholarship — Brandon Villa; Ruth Ashelford Pollock Nursing Fund —Diana Penaran and Mandi Lamb; Ruth I.
