Masons raise funds for Shriner’s Hospital

ROCHELLE — Members of the Rochelle Masonic Lodge worked at Culver’s on June 12 from 5-8 p.m. greeting and serving patrons as part of a fundraising effort.
The lodge earned nearly $500 during the share-the-profit event and the proceeds were sent to the Shiner’s Hospital for Children.
“The lodge members would like to thank Culver’s and especially Jody Dulceak for their assistance and generosity,” said Rochelle Mason Bud Norcross.

Shriners International, a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth, founded Shriners Hospital for Children as its official philanthropy in 1922.
What began as one hospital is now a world-renowned health care system with locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The fraternity, which has nearly 200 Shrine Temples in several countries and thousands of clubs around the world, continues to support this unique health care system with specialties in pediatric care, innovative research and offering outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals.
