ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation (RACF) opens its 2024 Community Needs Grant Cycle on Feb. 1, 2024 for all qualified non-profit agencies, organizations, schools, churches, government and municipality partners who serve the Rochelle, Kings, Chana, Lindenwood, Esmond, Steward and Creston areas. RACF is unable to provide funding to individuals, service organizations, and for-profit entities. To apply, simply visit RochelleFoundation.org, click on the “Grants” tab, and finally click on “Manage Grant”. Applicants will be directed to the grant portal where they will use their previous login information or can create an account if they are new to the application process.

Applications will remain open until March 1, 2024 at 4 p.m. There will be two grant applicant zoom calls, Thursday, Feb. 8 (Meeting ID 826 8393 5827) at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 27 (Meeting ID 836 1347 5708) at 10 a.m. The check-in zoom calls are not required but are encouraged as they offer an opportunity for applicants to ask questions about the application, processes, deadlines, and requirements. Approved grant requests will be announced to the public on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at a community-wide event held at Salt 251 from 4-6 p.m. Tickets are not required and the event is free to the public. Be looking for more information on that event soon.
