OREGON – For the 16th consecutive year, The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation (ICECF) has awarded the Illinois Renewable Energy Association (IREA) a grant to run the Illinois Renewable Energy and Sustainable Lifestyle Fair, to be held on Aug. 19 and 20 at the Ogle County Fairgrounds.
The ICECF awards grants on a competitive basis to non-profit organizations for renewable energy or natural areas preservation projects. The Fair is known for innovations and excellent speakers. At a meeting of energy agencies and organizations the Fair was categorized as “expected and respected.”
It is offered as a public service with a nominal entry fee of $5/adult and no charge for children.
The IREA is fortunate to have been awarded the grants and is grateful to the ICECF for their continued support.
