The Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce held its very own ribbon cutting on Thursday afternoon. The organization moved into the top floor of 501 6th Ave. in downtown Rochelle.
More than 30 members showed up to check out the new chamber office, which includes a conference room for chamber members to use for their business meetings. The positive energy was matched by the good weather and the strong breeze as everyone got together for a group shot.
Besides chamber members and directors, Mayor John Bearrows helped snip the ribbon to applause and cheers.
