Dear Editor,

The Rochelle Lions Club would like to say thank you to the community for making our Rose Day sale a success. 

Despite the COVID-19 crisis, most all of those who committed to pick up their roses did indeed pick them up. 

A special thanks to Colonial Flower Shoppe for all their work and helping to organize our project, Unger Horner Funeral Home for the use of their parking lot, Tim Hayden and crew for helping us deliver the roses and Mayor John Bearrows and the Rochelle City Council for allowing us to hold the event, despite the Coronavirus Pandemic.
