ROCHELLE — Rochelle Township High School’s Cash Budde was recently named as the recipient of the Rochelle Rotary Service Above Self Award for March. Cash, a junior at RTHS, was chosen as the student of the month, in part, because of his many hours given back to the community including volunteering at his church, helping with concession stands, volunteering at Hope Chest and more. Along with a certificate of recognition, Cash also received a gift certificate and a full scholarship to participate in RYLA, Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, held in Oregon in May.
