ROCHELLE – Christmas will be coming early to all six of the Stillman Bank locations on Friday, Dec. 6.
Stillman will hold its annual Christmas Open House featuring Christmas music and a variety of holiday treats and beverages for the public to enjoy.  
Food drive
In conjunction with the Christmas Open House, all Stillman locations will also be holding a Christmas Food Drive from Friday, Dec. 6 through Saturday, Dec. 14. All items will be donated to local food pantries just in time for Christmas. The bank invites everyone from the community to stop in and drop off non-perishable food items to help area families this Christmas. Now in its 12th year, the bank’s annual food drive has collected over 10,600 pounds of food since it began.

At the open house, Stillman employees will also be handing out calendars and holding the registration for its annual Holiday Giveaway, a long-established tradition at Stillman. The bank’s agriculture roots go back more than 137 years so the Holiday Giveaway is one way that the bank celebrates that history and shows appreciation to its customers for their dedication and loyalty over the years.
Holiday giveaway
There will be six winners of the holiday giveaway which is for three beef quarters and three pork halves. Registration will conclude on Dec. 22 with the drawing on Dec. 23. The calendar giveaway will continue while supplies last.
Coloring contest
Stillman Bank is also holding a Holiday Coloring Contest as a part of its annual holiday events. The contest, open to children up to 10 years old, will begin Nov. 29 and run through Dec. 17. Each of the bank’s six locations will select a grand prize winner in two age categories: ages 5 and under and ages 6 through 10. Winners will receive their very own gingerbread house. Entries for this year’s contest can be picked up at one of the bank’s six locations or printed off from the website, www.stillmanbank.com.
