ROCHELLE — Quality customer service is an important attribute to every business.
Rochelle area leaders are invited to attend a first of its kind business etiquette seminar that focuses on several business management topics on Monday, July 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at Teen Town.
The seminar, “Upping your Customer Service,” will be presented by Liz Bockman where she will discuss three components necessary for creating a culture of exceptional service.
Jackee Ohlinger, Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District’s recreation supervisor, said this event is an opportunity for business leaders to hear Bockman’s experiences in developing and implementing programs in areas such as customer service and business management.
“We thought maybe a lunch and learn would be a good time for Rochelle business leaders to stop in,” Ohlinger said. “Liz will bring to these presentations experience in developing and implementing programs on customer service, business management, public health related topics and a solid understanding of the importance of appropriate social skills in building successful and meaningful relationships needed to succeed in life, both professionally and personally.”
The event, sponsored by the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, is $10 and includes a catered lunch from Rochelle Community Hospital.
Those attending are asked to RSVP by Friday, July 7 by calling 815-562-7813. Please bring the mission statement of your organization.
“We are hoping it’s going to be a fun experience for everyone and that they can take away a little something to better themselves as well as their business,” added Ohlinger.
