Upcoming local and area COVID-19 vaccination clinics

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Community Hospital and the Ogle County Health Department will be hosting five walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the coming days.

There is no appointment necessary and no charge. Specific health questions should be directed to your primary care physician.

RCH will be hosting two clinics in the RCH tent on the south side of the hospital in the Health & Wellness Center parking lot. The first is a Pfizer clinic for ages 12 and up on Wednesday, June 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The second dose would be June 23 at the same place and time.

The second RCH clinic is June 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Moderna vaccine for ages 18 and up. The second dose is July 9 at the same time and place.

Those with questions can call RCH’s triage line at 815-561-8829 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The OCHD will be hosting Pfizer vaccine clinics for ages 12-17 at the following dates, locations and times.

Tuesday, June 1 from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Forreston High School Band Room at 601 E. Main St. in Forreston. The second dose would be June 22 at the same time and place.

Wednesday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Byron Middle School gym at 696 N. Colfax St. in Byron. The second dose would be June 23 at the same time and place.

Monday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the OCHD building at 907 Pines Road in Oregon. The second dose would be June 287 at the same time and place.
