Vote by mail ballot tracking program announced

OGLE COUNTY – Laura J. Cook, Ogle County Clerk and Recorder, announces the launching of a Vote by Mail Ballot tracking program through BallotTrax.
This is a new way for Ogle County voters to track and receive notifications on the status of their Vote by Mail Application and Ballot. Voters are encouraged to sign up for this free service at ogleballottrax.com
Once a voter has signed up, they will receive notices:

Vote by Mail Ballot request has been accepted;
Vote my Mail Ballot has been mailed;
Your ballot has been accepted. Your voter packet has been accepted by the county election office for counting.
Information about how to sign up for the ballot tracking service and USPS Informed Delivery will be included in the Vote by Mail packets.
