DIXON — The Rochelle varsity boys tennis team saw its losing streak continue against Dixon this past Thursday. The Dukes defeated the Hubs by a score of 5-0 to drop Rochelle to 0-16 on the season. The Hubs won only six games during the match.
Junior Sean Flanagan fell 1-6, 0-6 against Lucas Healy at No. 1 singles, while freshman Jason Zheng lost 0-6, 0-6 to Quinten Hoyle at No. 2 singles. Seniors Hector Garcia and Emilio Nava fell down 0-6, 1-6 against Daniel Ferguson and Jonathan Rivera at No. 1 doubles.
Seniors Alex Galambos and Diego Lopez lost 1-6, 1-6 to Ryan Lawton and Leith Elbzour at No. 2 doubles, with senior Caden Manning and junior Gabe Nava falling 0-6, 2-6 against Noah Grot and A.J. Schmall at No. 3 doubles.
