ROCHELLE — Becca Bunger turned in a solid performance at the plate in Rochelle’s sophomore softball game against the Kaneland Knights on Tuesday, but it wouldn’t be enough to being the Lady Hubs home a victory.
The Kaneland sophomores won the game by a score of 8-0, with Bunger going 2-for-3 at the dish to lead the Rochelle offense. Freshman Hannah Luxton went 1-for-3, while Mandi Lamb reached base twice on hit-by-pitches. Freshman Ally Reish took the ball to start the game on the pitcher’s mound.
The Lady Hubs will travel to Geneseo on Thursday to face the Maple Leafs.
