DEKALB — The Rochelle varsity girls bowling team resumed conference play against Sycamore on Tuesday, with the Lady Hubs falling 3,396-2,255 to drop to 0-4 overall. Senior Autumn Headon led the girls with a team-high series score of 471.
Sycamore took the first game 1,113-756 behind 228 from Megan Kolberg and 215 from Heather Carlson. Headon’s 160 was the high score for Rochelle during the opening game. The Spartans won the second game 1,192-774 with Kolberg shooting 239 and Alexis Munch adding 235. Headon rolled 173 for the Lady Hubs, and freshman Alyssa Schwanert recorded 153 while freshman Alyssa Mickley added 144.
Sycamore completed the sweep with a 1,091-725 win in the third game. Kolberg rolled 227 for a match-high 694 series, and Mickley shot 145 to finish with a 425 series for the Lady Hubs.
