DIXON — The Hubs varsity bowling team finished eighth out of 12 teams in the Dixon Toughman Tournament at Plum Hollow Lanes this past weekend, with Rochelle junior Tyler Johnson throwing a third-best tournament score of 268 to lead the purple and white.
The Hubs totaled 5,359 pins after five team games and five baker rounds on Saturday. Johnson rolled Rochelle’s high series of 989 through five games, while junior Brady Shank added 957 and junior Dallas Driver recorded 921. Seniors Mark Bratko and Tyler Nalley combined for 1,562 pins.
