The Rochelle Super Fans are showing off their school spirit to the state of Illinois, reaching the semifinal round of Comcast SportsNet Chicago’s “Battle of the Fans” competition.
The four-week tournament includes 64 high school across the state, and the schools are divided into four regions. After topping Streator’s “The Dawg Pound” in the first round by a 70-30 percent vote, the Super Fans edged out Burlington Central’s “Rocket Rowdies” by a 51-49 percent vote to advance to the semifinals against Providence.
Voting for each round begins Monday at noon and ends Thursday at 5 p.m. Hub fans are encouraged to search “Teen Wolf Region” on Twitter and cast their vote to put Rochelle’s Super Fans in the regional finals. (Photo by Todd Smith)
