ROCHELLE — Andrew Eyster and Luke Chadwick each rushed for two touchdowns Friday evening, when the Rochelle Hub freshman football team continued its unbeaten season with a dominant 54-7 win over Kaneland.
Eyster ran in a 3-yard touchdown and a 25-yard touchdown for the Hubs (4-0, 3-0 Interstate 8), while Chadwick added a 30-yard touchdown and a 4-yard touchdown in addition to recovering a fumble on defense. Jayontae Hylton rushed for a 60-yard touchdown and Cohen Haedt ran in a 12-yard touchdown to aid the Hubs on offense.
Jace Spears helped ice the win with a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Ethan Sturges snagged an interception on defense, while Reese Voight and Damontae Andrews each recorded one tackle for loss in the win.
