PRINCETON — The Rochelle Junior Tackle seventh-graders scored a 14-12 win over LaSalle-Peru in Princeton on Sunday to place seventh in the Big 14 Conference this season. Rochelle finished with a 3-6 overall record.
Korbin Milos and Elijah Underwood each rushed for over 100 yards to lead the Rochelle offense. Garrett Miller snagged an interception and Austin Gomez totaled four tackles to spearhead the charge on defense.
The team includes Bentley Svela, Spencer Carpenter, Maddex Jackson, Ryland Vannoy, Ty Vongsiri, Korbin Milos, Jaycob Hammer, Kamden Kessen, Addison Virto, Kayden Smith, Vaughn Manning, Quentin Ansteth, Roger Navarro, Elijah Underwood, Julian Perez, Gunner Thuestad, Sean Hudzik, Garrett Miller, Zachary Waddle, Aiden White, Reed Dougherty, Liam Halfacre, Austin Gomez and Mason Picurro.
The team is coached by Cristian Perez, Mike Belmonte, Jeff Dickey and Shannon Dickey.
