Rochelle Township High School rising senior Megan Thiravong took fourth place in the two-day Prep Tour event at Hickory Point and Red Tail Run this past weekend, carding 76 and 77 over two 18-hole rounds.
The Lady Hub standout also competed in the first Rockford Area Junior Tournament of the season at Ingersoll on Tuesday, winning her age group with 79. The next series event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21 at Sandy Hollow. Thiravong is pictured above with her Prep Tour trophy.
