Jorge L. Sanchez, 25, of Rochelle, was stopped for no registration light and improper window tint on March 18 at 7:56 p.m., on Interstate 39 southbound at milepost 111 in Ogle County and was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis (more than 500 but less than 2,000 grams), possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver (more the 500 but less than 2,000 grams), driving while license suspended and unlawful transportation of alcohol. Sanchez was also wanted on an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear for dangerous drugs and a Lee County warrant for contempt of court. Sanchez was transported to the Ogle County Jail.
