ROCHELLE — The League of Women Voters and Rochelle Chamber of Commerce State of the Community Dinner scheduled for Thursday, March 19 has been cancelled.

According to LWV co-president Eileen Liezert the LWV decided to cancel the event with hopes of rescheduling the event at a later date.

“The board will meet the first Tuesday in April and will talk about hopefully rescheduling the dinner for a later date,” Liezert said.

The State of the Community Dinner has been put on annually by the League of Women Voters for many years.
