Officers arrest man for misuse of 9-1-1

On Feb. 5 at 9:30 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Steven Farmer, 58, of Rochelle, for misuse of 9-1-1. He was transported to jail.

On Feb. 6 at 10:08 p.m., Rochelle police cited Mario Amezola, 51, of Rockford, for no insurance. He posted a promise to comply.

On Feb. 7 at 3:08 p.m., Rochelle police cited Julio Espinoza-Lopez, 29, of Rochelle, for no valid driver’s license and improper turn. He posted an I-bond.

On Feb. 7 at 8:41 a.m., Rochelle police cited Chad Shaw, 39, of Rochelle, for possession of cannabis in motor vehicle. He posted a promise to comply.

On Feb. 7 at 8:48 a.m., Rochelle police cited Ramon Samano, 22, of Rochelle, for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He posted a promise to comply.

On Feb. 9 at 2:33 p.m., Rochelle police cited Diorgenis Rodriguez-Leyva, 33, of Rochelle, for speeding. He posted a promise to comply.

On Feb. 9 at 4:59 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Alex Gonzalez, 26, of Rochelle, on a DuPage County warrant. He was transported to jail.

On Feb. 10 at 7:55 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Miguel Medina, 33, of Rochelle, for driving while license revoked. He posted an I-bond.

On Feb. 10 at 7:25 a.m., Rochelle police cited Taylor Sherril, 25, of Rochelle, for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information after striking a vehicle and failure to report an accident. She posted an I-bond.
