On July 30 at approximately 6:55 p.m. deputies responded to a violation of an order of protection in the 9,000 block of North Blaine Drive.  After investigation, deputies placed Dustin Grove, 41, of Davis Junction under arrest for violation of an order of protection and an active Rockford PD failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence. Grove was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance in front of a judge.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: July 30-Aug. 2, 2024

OREGON — On July 30 at approximately 6:55 p.m. deputies responded to a violation of an order of protection in the 9,000 block of North Blaine Drive.  After investigation, deputies placed Dustin Grove, 41, of Davis Junction under arrest for violation of an order of protection and an active Rockford PD failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence. Grove was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance in front of a judge.

On July 31 at approximately 6:21 p.m. deputies, with the assistance of the Forreston Fire Department, responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Illinois Route 26 and Coffman Road near Forreston. After a brief investigation, it was determined that a silver Kia Forte driven by Kimberly G. Pogue, 32, of Milledgeville, was traveling westbound on Coffman Road when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic when leaving the stop sign on Coffman Road at Illinois Route 26. The vehicle was then struck by a tan Honda SUV, driven by Jordyn M. McNair, 25, of Lanark, traveling northbound on North Illinois Route 26. Pogue was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic when leaving a stop intersection.

On Aug. 1 at approximately 10:23 p.m. deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 16,000 block of West Milledgeville Road.  After further investigation David Bergeson, 41, of Polo, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. Bergeson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released on a notice to appear. Bergeson was also cited for speeding.

On Aug. 2 at 12:35 a.m. deputies, assisted by Oregon Police Department, conducted a traffic stop at 2,000 South Illinois Route 2. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Chasity Wright, 43, of Dixon, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Wright was transported to the Ogle County Jail, processed, and released on a notice to appear at a later date. Wright was also issued a citation for improper lane usage.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
