RFD, Ogle-Lee hold first training session at new facility

On Saturday, Dec. 9, members of the Rochelle Fire Department and the Ogle-Lee Fire Protection District completed training evolutions at the new Joint Training Facility. This was the first training held at the site since construction began this fall. Members completed several evolutions, including hose line advancement, search, ventilation and command functions.

On Saturday, Dec. 9, members of the Rochelle Fire Department and the Ogle-Lee Fire Protection District completed training evolutions at the new Joint Training Facility. This was the first training held at the site since construction began this fall. Members completed several evolutions, including hose line advancement, search, ventilation and command functions.

“The members of both agencies would like to express our sincere gratitude to our respective administrations, the Rochelle City Council, the Ogle-Lee FPD Board of Trustees, and the citizens of our communities for their support in furthering the training opportunities for our firefighters,” a joint Facebook post said.
