STERLING — A Rochelle man was arrested Tuesday for an outstanding warrant for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
At 8:03 p.m. Illinois State Police stopped a motor vehicle for an unauthorized U-turn on Interstate 39 at mile marker 95 in Ogle County.
The driver, Renee A. Thornhill, 22, of Rochelle, was found to have the warrant issued by the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office and arrested. He was also charged with disobeying controlled access highway restrictions
Thornhill was lodged at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
