On July 15 at 5:49 a.m. Jan P. Torres Lopez, 27, of Joliet was cited for speeding. He signed a promise to comply and was given an Aug. 16 Rochelle court date.

Rochelle Police Report: July 15-18, 2024

ROCHELLE — On July 15 at 5:49 a.m. Jan P. Torres Lopez, 27, of Joliet was cited for speeding. He signed a promise to comply and was given an Aug. 16 Rochelle court date.

On July 16 at 9:41 p.m. Derek L. Jones Jr., 25, of Rochelle was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and transferred.

On July 17 at 2:12 p.m. Brooke L. Jackson, 27, of. Ashton was arrested on an outstanding Lee County warrant and cited for speeding 53 miles per hour in 30 miles per hour zone and also cited for suspended registration.

On July 17 at 4:34 p.m. Brooke E. Heiman, 21, of Compton was cited for speeding 51 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. She signed a promise to comply and was given an Aug. 16 Rochelle court date.

On July 17 at 4:50 p.m. Stephony N. Johnson, 36, of Rochelle was cited for speeding 53 miles per hour in a 40 miles per hour zone. She signed a promise to comply and was given an Aug. 16 Rochelle court date.

On July 18 at 2:58 a.m. Natalia M. Garza, 29, of Rochelle was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant and transferred.

On July 18 at 11:36 a.m. Aaron M. Adams, 37, of Rochelle was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, and for an outstanding Whiteside County warrant. Adams was transferred and issued a notice to appear for the possession charge with an Aug. 16 Ogle County court date. In the same incident, Angela M. Baker, 38, homeless, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. She was issued a notice to appear with an Aug. 16 Ogle County court date.

On July 18 at 11:27 a.m. Albert L. Cyrier, 46, of Rochelle was arrested an on outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended and transferred.

On July 18 at 2:55 p.m. Jesus Linares, 41, of Rochelle was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant and transferred.

On July 18 at 2:37 p.m. Noah J. Hutchens, 27, of North Carolina was arrested for driving while license suspended. He signed a promise to comply and was given an Aug. 16 Rochelle court date.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
