On May 1 at 10:10 p.m., Salvador Milan, 35, Rochelle, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol as well as endangering the life and health of a child. Milan was stopped in the 300 block of Willis Avenue after someone reported a driving complaint. He posted an individual bond and was given a court date of May 21 in Oregon.
May 2
On May 2 at 10:23 a.m., Bryan Vargas, 24, Rochelle, was cited for speeding 65 m.p.h. in a 40 m.p.h. zone. Vargas was stopped in the 1,000 block of South Main Street. He posted an I-bond and is to appear in court on June 4 in Rochelle.
On May 2 at 2:28 p.m., Shane Reiniche, 31, Rockford, was ticketed for speeding 104 m.p.h. in a 55 m.p.h. zone and reckless driving. He was pulled over at the intersection of West Ill. Route 38 and Centerpoint Drive. He posted an I-bond and was given a Rochelle court date of June 4.
