Rochelle Police Report: May 31-June 3, 2024

ROCHELLE — On May 31 at 2:56 p.m. Ahlam M. Elthair, 38, of DeKalb was cited for speeding. He signed a promise to comply and was given a June 21 Rochelle court date.

On May 31 at 9:01 p.m. Francisco Mendez, 39, of Aurora was cited for expired registration and disobeying a traffic control device. He signed a promise to comply and was given a June 14 Ogle County court date.

On May 31 at 8:08 a.m. Edith Castaneda, 45, of Rochelle was cited for expired registration. He signed a promise to comply and was given a June 21 Rochelle court date.

On June 1 at 1:03 p.m. Karen A. Lindemann, 72, of Rochelle was cited for disobeying a stop sign. She signed a promise to comply and was given a July 12 Rochelle court date.

On June 1 at 8:03 a.m. Julio C. Parra Rodriguez, 38, of Rochelle was cited for speeding 47 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone. He signed a promise to comply and was given a July 12 Rochelle court date.

On June 2 at 12:15 p.m. Justin M. Carraher, 36, of Rochelle was arrested for retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear with a June 21 Ogle County court date.

On June 2 at 3:53 p.m. Emanuel Cortes-Perez, 33, of Rochelle was cited for speeding 50 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone. He signed a promise to comply and was given a July 12 Rochelle court date.

On June 2 at 9:07 p.m. Paul A. Powers, 47, of Rochelle was arrested for domestic battery and transferred.

On June 2 at 11:14 p.m. Dominick C. Gunn, 39, of Dixon was cited for no insurance. He signed a promise to comply and was given a July 12 Rochelle court date.

On June 3 at 7:53 p.m. Armando Orozco Garcia, 53, of Rochelle was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle. He signed a promise to comply and was given a July 12 Rochelle court date.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
