Pictured in front of her family’s 1931 Ford Model A pickup truck, which survived the 2015 tornado that destroyed much of their family farm, is the 2019-20 Rochelle Township High School NSDAR Good Citizen, Morgan Schabacker. 

Schabacker was selected by her fellow students and teachers at Rochelle Township High School, through a process that included an optional written essay, for exemplifying the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. Morgan’s essay was further selected by the Rochelle Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution to be forwarded to the district level of the competition.
