WINNETKA — Rochelle swimmer Alli Cole medaled in two events at the IHSA State Championships in Winnetka this past weekend. Cole competed in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle for athletes with disabilities.
Cole finished the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 1:23.35 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 3:14.96, placing 11th in both events. The junior was only the second swimmer in RTHS history to qualify for the IHSA State Championships three times. The event was held at New Trier Township High School.
