Woman arrested for unlawful possession

On Sept. 1 at approximately 8:15 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North Illinois Route 251. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Sierra Tongue, 23, of Franklin Grove, for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of cannabis. Tongue was also issued a citation for an equipment violation. Tongue was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Sept. 1 at 9:01 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 88 at mile marker 75 eastbound. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Skye Richardson, 21, of New Virginia, Iowa, for unlawful possession of cannabis. Richardson was released on a notice to appear and will appear in court at a later date.
Sept. 2
On Sept. 2 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Hayden J. Morris, 19, of Rockford, for speeding 26 to 34 miles per hour over the limit. Morris had a $3,000/10 percent bond. Morris did post the $3,000/10 percent and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Morris will return to court on Sept. 23 at 9 a.m.
Reginald C. Davis, 40, of Chicago, for failure to appear. Davis had a bond of $171 and he did post the bond. Davis was released from the Ogle County jail with no further court date needed.

On Sept. 2 at approximately 6:19 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 7506 S. Lost Nation Road for a report of a disturbance with shots fired. After an investigation, Scott R. Levan, 48, of Dixon, was arrested for two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, criminal damage to property, and violation of the FOID Card Act. Levan was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office also assisted with the investigation.
Sept. 3
On Sept. 3 William Smalley, 49, of Rockford, was arrested for failure to appear. Smalley had a bond of $1,562 and was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 3 at 1 p.m.
On Sept. 3 at 8 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at Illinois Route 64 and Woodlawn Road. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Alfredo Mendosa, 32, of DeKalb, for no valid driver’s license.  Mendosa was released on a notice to appear and will appear in court at a later date.
Sept. 4
On Sept. 4, Ogle County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to Sledgehammers Pub at 1450 N. Illinois Route 2 for a noise complaint of loud music. After a brief investigation, Ogle County Sheriff Deputies arrested pub manager Justin Coltrain for disorderly conduct. Coltrain was released on an I-Bond and will appear in court at a later date.
On Sept. 4 at 11:02 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 12,000 block of East Illinois Route 64 in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the offending vehicle at Grubsteaker’s. After an investigation, deputies arrested Richard D’Onofrio, 61, of Monroe Center, for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance, improper lane usage and improper transportation of alcohol. 
On Sept. 4 at 6:36 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate a report of damage to vehicle at 5426 S. Skare Road. After an investigation, Tiana Dodson, 31, of Rochelle, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Dodson was transport to the Rochelle Police Department and released on a $3,000 I-Bond.
Sept. 5
On Sept. 5 at approximately 10:11 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Illinois Route 2 and Pines Road. After investigation, deputies placed Davionne Hardnett, 25, of Rockford, under arrest for driving while license suspended. Hardnett was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
