Area residents have until 5 p.m. Monday to file a petition for local board races in the Consolidated Election on April 2, 2019.
Several positions in the school and park boards, the forest preserve and fire protection districts and village races will be included on the ballot.
The filing period for candidates seeking election is from Dec. 10 through Dec. 17.
