The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team swept its season series with the Morris Redskins on Thursday, scoring a 2,210-1,935 victory behind freshman Cassidy Vincent’s team-leading 483 series. Senior Anna Samo fired a 437 series for Rochelle (4-4, 3-3 Interstate 8), while sophomore Faith Adams added a 402 series in the win over the Redskins.

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team swept its season series with the Morris Redskins on Thursday, scoring a 2,210-1,935 victory behind freshman Cassidy Vincent’s team-leading 483 series. Senior Anna Samo fired a 437 series for Rochelle (4-4, 3-3 Interstate 8), while sophomore Faith Adams added a 402 series in the win over the Redskins.

Morris snuck ahead with the series lead in the first game, defeating Rochelle 696-686 behind 190 from Ralyssa McShane, who threw four consecutive strikes to help seal the win for the Redskins. Adams led Rochelle with 149 in the first game, while Samo followed with 141.

The Lady Hubs bounced back in the second game, winning 668-642 before taking the third game 856-597 to clinch the match. Vincent scored a series-best 221 to close out her series on Thursday, while Samo rolled a series-high 187 in the third game for the Lady Hubs. Vincent’s 140 and sophomore Anahi Alanis’ 134 were Rochelle’s top scores in the second game.
