ROCKFORD — The Rochelle Hub varsity golf team shot a 373 to finish 16th out of 24 schools in the Brad Fowler Invitational at Aldeen Golf Club on Saturday. Junior Ian Metzger took 29th individually with an 83, while sophomore Alex Dyer landed in 42nd with an 89.
Sophomores Owen Carmichael and Johnny Chadwick rounded out the top four scorers with respective cards of 99 and 104. Sophomore Connor Lewis totaled 106 and senior Chris Hickey had 115 for the Hubs (7-1, 2-0 Interstate 8), who will look to regroup with a home match against Sycamore on Tuesday.
