OTTAWA — The Rochelle Hub varsity bowling team suffered its third straight loss on Tuesday, falling 3,243-2,702 and dropping to 1-7 on the season. Senior Devansh Patel rolled a team-high 541 series, while senior Sergio Guevara added a 518 series.
The Pirates edged Rochelle 1,010-1,008 in the first game behind 213 from Nelson Brandt. Junior Evin Odle fired 218 for the Hubs, while Patel scored 188 and Guevara recorded 180.
Ottawa surged ahead with a 1,214-804 victory in the second game. Sean Miller led the Pirates with 235, while Landon McAlpine added 219 and Colin Sheridan totaled 203.
The Pirates completed the sweep with a 1,019-890 victory in the third game. Guevara scored 182 and Patel rolled 178 for the Hubs.
