LOVES PARK — Rochelle senior Mark Bratko rolled the Hubs varsity bowling team’s top series score when the purple and white traveled west to Forest Hills Lanes this past Saturday for the Harlem Varsity Invitational.
Rochelle totaled 2,790 pins over the first three games of team competition, and the Hubs bowled 2,595 during the second half of tournament action to finish the day with 5,385 pins. Bratko’s six-game total of 1,097 was the top individual score for Rochelle, which placed 15th out of 20 teams at the invite.
Junior Dallas Driver knocked down 1,083 pins with a high game of 247, while junior Tyler Johnson added 1,082 with a high game of 212. Junior Brady Shank (1,075) and senior Tyler Nalley (1,048) rounded out the Hubs varsity team on Saturday.
