GENESEO — Senior Katie Dummer topped 600 pins when the Lady Hubs varsity bowling team faced the Geneseo Maple Leafs on the road Tuesday evening. Senior Carlie Elder added 558 pins, but the Rochelle girls were unable to overcome a tough Geneseo squad, falling by a score of 3,319-2,639 to drop to 2-9 overall.
The Maple Leafs won the first game 1,057-874 behind 237 from Rachel Clementz. Dummer rolled Rochelle’s high opening game of 183 while senior Hope Palmer added 173. Geneseo took the second game 1,096-852 with Jonah Hart shooting 211 and Clementz adding 202.
Clementz totaled 241 in her third and final game to help the Maple Leafs down Rochelle 1,165-913 in the series finale. Dummer bowled 217 and 204 over her final two games, while Elder recorded scores of 192 and 199 in her last two games.
