ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Football Parent Group will be offering new and repainted Hub stencils this summer, with all proceeds going toward providing meals, gifts and the season-ending awards banquet for the Rochelle Township High School football team.
The cost for a new or repainted stencil will be $25. Those looking to purchase a new or repainted Hub stencil can contact Lisa Bolhous at 630-901-6548 to get on the list.
“Stencils are great because the Hub logo shows support for so much more than just the football team,” Rochelle Football Parent Group member Kerri Villa-Nantz said.
Team meals are provided for the Rochelle Hub football team every Thursday. Meals are donated from local businesses such as Alfano’s Pizza, Ralfie’s BBQ, Hicks BBQ and Rochelle Community Hospital. Businesses or volunteers looking to donate meals can contact Villa-Nantz at 815-761-5470.
“We’re thankful for such a supportive community,” Villa-Nantz said. “Coming off this crazy pandemic, we don’t expect all nine games during the upcoming season to have fully donated meals, so we’re planning to need the funds from these stencils to cover the cost of some of the team meals.”
