The Rockford Register Star and Journal Standard released their 2020 Best of Rock River Valley All-Star Preps teams recently. Six Rochelle Township High School student-athletes were recognized and will be invited to attend this year's banquet at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

ROCKFORD — The Rockford Register Star and Journal Standard released their 2020 Best of Rock River Valley All-Star Preps teams recently. Six Rochelle Township High School student-athletes were recognized for their achievements this school year.
Three Lady Hub student-athletes were named to the All-Star Prep dance team including Erin Decker, Taylor Ponto and Kayden Kannheiser. Lady Hub student-athlete Allison Cole was named to the All-Star Prep girls swimming team, and Hub student-athlete Austin Brown was named to the All-Star Prep boys soccer team. Lady Hub student-athlete Megan Thiravong was named to the All-Star Prep girls golf team.
The 2020 Best of Rock River Valley All-Star Preps Banquet will be held virtually on Thursday, June 18 at 6 p.m. in light of the coronavirus pandemic. The free, on-demand awards show broadcast will be held online at https://preps.rockford.gatehouselive.com or on any Smart TV, tablet or phone through YouTube Premiere. Honorees can be notified of awards or sign up online to receive their gift packages.
