STERLING — Rochelle basketball players Garrett Burdin and Austin Brown will represent the Hubs in the IHSA Sectional 3-Point Shootout in Peoria next weekend. Both players qualified out of the regional contest in Sterling on Friday.
Brown finished second in the regional shootout with 11 triples, while Burdin tied for third with 10 triples. Brown will shoot at sectionals for the first time, and Burdin will compete at the sectional for the second straight season.
